Venus cazimi | The Mountain Astrologer

Venus cazimi | The Mountain Astrologer: Venus disappeared from the morning sky (Venus Lucifer, “the light bearer” to the Greeks) on February 16. She will reappear in the evening sky on May 16, when she will be low and faint in the sky after sunset. This begins her reign as Venus Hesperus, i.e., “setting in the West.”

The Venus Transits 2004 / 2012: The Pentagonal Cycle of Venus

The Venus Transits 2004 / 2012: The Pentagonal Cycle of Venus: A Venus Transit occurs when we can see Venus passing directly in front of the Sun. This is similar to when the Moon passes in front of the Sun on a solar eclipse. Unlike the Moon, which covers most of the Sun, Venus appears as a small dot crossing the face of the Sun. A transit (sometime called a passage) can only occur with the inner planets--Mercury and Venus--because they are the only two that can lie between the Earth and Sun during their orbits.

Venus; Its Curious Orbital Relationship to Earth

Venus; Its Curious Orbital Relationship to Earth: The influence of Venus upon mankind and indeed upon the Earth is an interesting one. The Earth and Venus are locked in a curious orbital dance with one another that sees changes in the Earth's orbit over various cycles, most important of which are the 90,000 and 100,000-year cycles. These are built on the shorter cycle of eight years less two days. The Earth and Venus are engaged in a phase locking of their two orbits as described by chaotic dynamics. The two are orbiting in an almost exact 13:8 resonance, which has consequences for both planets. This phase locking has the consequence of driving the long ages of the Earth.

Stargate: 2004-2012 Venus Transit

Stargate: 2004-2012 Venus Transit: We have experienced an increasing number of large-scale natural disasters since 1950. This includes earthquakes, volcanoes, hurricanes and floods. While people are waiting for an explosive 2012 event to announce Armageddon, the signs these are indeed the ‘End Times’ appear to have already occurred.
