The end of the Kali Yuga in 2025: Unraveling the mysteries of the Yuga Cycle by Bibhu Dev Misra - GrahamHancock.com articles

The end of the Kali Yuga in 2025: Unraveling the mysteries of the Yuga Cycle by Bibhu Dev Misra - GrahamHancock.com articles: The Yuga Cycle doctrine tells us that we are now living in the Kali Yuga; the age of darkness, when moral virtue and mental capabilities reach their lowest point in the cycle. The Indian epic The Mahabharata describes the Kali Yuga as the period whenthe “World Soul” is Black in hue; only one quarter of virtue remains, which slowly dwindles to zero at the end of the Kali Yuga. Men turn to wickedness; disease, lethargy, anger, natural calamities, anguish and fear of scarcity dominate. Penance, sacrifices and religious observances fall into disuse. All creatures degenerate. Change passes over all things, without exception.

Venus cazimi | The Mountain Astrologer

Venus cazimi | The Mountain Astrologer: Venus disappeared from the morning sky (Venus Lucifer, “the light bearer” to the Greeks) on February 16. She will reappear in the evening sky on May 16, when she will be low and faint in the sky after sunset. This begins her reign as Venus Hesperus, i.e., “setting in the West.”

The Venus Transits 2004 / 2012: The Pentagonal Cycle of Venus

The Venus Transits 2004 / 2012: The Pentagonal Cycle of Venus: A Venus Transit occurs when we can see Venus passing directly in front of the Sun. This is similar to when the Moon passes in front of the Sun on a solar eclipse. Unlike the Moon, which covers most of the Sun, Venus appears as a small dot crossing the face of the Sun. A transit (sometime called a passage) can only occur with the inner planets--Mercury and Venus--because they are the only two that can lie between the Earth and Sun during their orbits.

Venus; Its Curious Orbital Relationship to Earth

Venus; Its Curious Orbital Relationship to Earth: The influence of Venus upon mankind and indeed upon the Earth is an interesting one. The Earth and Venus are locked in a curious orbital dance with one another that sees changes in the Earth's orbit over various cycles, most important of which are the 90,000 and 100,000-year cycles. These are built on the shorter cycle of eight years less two days. The Earth and Venus are engaged in a phase locking of their two orbits as described by chaotic dynamics. The two are orbiting in an almost exact 13:8 resonance, which has consequences for both planets. This phase locking has the consequence of driving the long ages of the Earth.

Stargate: 2004-2012 Venus Transit

Stargate: 2004-2012 Venus Transit: We have experienced an increasing number of large-scale natural disasters since 1950. This includes earthquakes, volcanoes, hurricanes and floods. Astroblog: Pluto in Capricorn is showing us where power has become overwhelmingly leveraged towards the few, at the expense of the rest. Pluto engenders the seeds of revolution, and the fall from power of those in high places, if need be. It’s about the redistribution of power. In Pluto weather the dark underbelly is revealed... And when in Capricorn it lays bare the underlying problems and weaknesses in the existing structures, governments and seats of power. And when planets come to stress this position...as they have been this year, those structures are challenged for stability, strength and soundness.

American Materialism: The Elephant in the Middle of the Room | Reality Sandwich: Money as Taboo

Pluto is the planet of taboos. How appropriate it is that the god of Hell is the governor of these festering energies, always in the atmosphere but rarely discussed honestly and directly. The danger attached to these ideas causes baroque mythologies to build up around them, a system of apologias which would provide a fascinating self-study if we had the courage to look into them. In our own natal chart, Pluto's placement points to issues we may be semi-aware of but rarely look into, because we simply don't know what to do with them.

Activist Post: Scientists' Research Warns Humanity May be Facing 'Vortex of Death': "Professor Raymond Wheeler, from the University of Kansas, at first almost stumbled into the frightening data. The connection was initially discovered by noted Russian scientist Alexander Chizhevsky during 1915: solar storms trigger conflict, wars and death. A vortex of death."

Astroblog: Revolutionary Timeline: The Uranus/Pluto Cycle

Astroblog: Revolutionary Timeline: The Uranus/Pluto Cycle: "When Uranus, the planet of freedom and independence, meets authoritarian, transformational Pluto in hard aspect the key words are: revolution, social activism, rebellion vs. authoritarianism, reformation, freedom against oppression, and transformation. These are times in history when it becomes apparent that what people had been tolerating for some time, will not just go away by themselves, but in fact feel to be getting worse. There is a universal urge to make much needed changes and reforms... even revolutions."

Principle of astrology proven to be scientific: planetary position imprints biological clocks of mammals

(NaturalNews) Mention the word "astrology" and skeptics go into an epileptic fit. The idea that someone's personality could be imprinted at birth according to the position of the sun, moon and planets has long been derided as "quackery" by the so-called "scientific" community which resists any notion based on holistic connections between individuals and the cosmos.

Activist Post: Are signs of 2012 galactic alignment evident now?: "As the media focuses on the failing economy, there isn’t much mainstream discussion about the climatic and geological changes Earth is now experiencing. Although it may be a stretch for most people’s imaginations, it appears that the rapid decline of our economy and the increased geological activity are connected."

The Meaning of the Great Planetary Cycles

The Meaning of the Great Planetary Cycles: "What lies ahead for Humanity? With all the problems we have, it’s hard to believe our future is bright. Inflation and recession, environmental deterioration, diminishing resources, unrest and oppression in developing countries, and apathy, loneliness and lack of direction in developed ones all combine to severely cloud the horizon. With the possible exception of President Clinton, about the only confidence comes from the sentimental rugged individualists such as Reagan and Gingrich who seek to return us to the good old days."
