Real Life Flintstone House Is The Biggest Piece Of Pottery In The World.... on eAnswers: Constructed completely from clay and dried naturally in the sun, Casa Terracotta, or the 'Flintstone House' as the neighbors refer to it is a 5,400 square foot house built by 64-year-old Octavio Mendoza who calls it simply his 'Project for Life'. After working as an architect and designing homes for most of his life, his primary objective here was to show that "habitable architecture" can be created successfully by utilizing the freely available local natural resources as building material. Judging from the unbelievable pictures of this house, it seems that his concept totally succeeded in a big way!
